Supporting a long history of substantial corporate giving, Crowe Horwath LLP established the Crowe Foundation in 2006 to better focus its charitable giving and align contributions with Crowe personnel’s volunteer efforts. In alignment with Crowe’s core purpose, values, and goals, Crowe Foundation financial support and the involvement of our people are directed at building value within the broader communities where we live and work. The Crowe Foundation’s primary focus is youth development, a means of helping the youth of our communities to develop into productive members of society. This is a focus for which Crowe people have expressed great passion and a focus that we believe can create great long-term impact. Crowe Foundation aligns with Crowe’s core values and goals The Crowe Foundation is designed based on the firm’s core values:
Financially supporting the organizations for which our people volunteer The Crowe Foundation’s Volunteer Investment Program’s (VIP’s) purpose is to financially support the not-for-profit organizations for which our people volunteer their time in our communities. We believe the VIP will encourage our people to get involved and take leadership roles within our communities. Other means of supporting our communities In addition to Crowe Foundation grants, there are many other ways in which Crowe supports its communities. Crowe personnel volunteer their time and talent through charitable and professional organizations. Additionally, the firm has sponsored matching donation programs for natural disaster relief, including the tsunami, hurricane, and Sept. 11 tragedies, totaling more than $350,000 in donations.
