Crowe Horwath LLP and Hays combine practices
Crowe continues national expansion OAK BROOK, Ill. (June 1, 2009) – Crowe Horwath LLP, one of the top 10 public accounting and consulting firms in the U.S., today announced it has completed its previously-announced combination of practices with New York City firm Hays & Company LLP. The two firms signed an agreement to combine in February. The combination creates in-depth presence in the New York metropolitan area and adds additional international experience and recognized leaders in the CPA profession. “With this combination, we’ll be better able to locally serve our East Coast clients as a national firm that is globally recognized, and the Hays personnel will be able to draw on our vast pool of resources to serve clients,” said Chuck Allen, Crowe’s chief executive officer. “It also firmly establishes our presence in New York and enables us to create new relationships in that market with the strong relationships that Hays’ leaders have developed over many years.” “Clients of both firms will now be served from a single, national platform” said David Lifson, who co-founded the firm with Ed Kuczmarski 30 years ago. “The Crowe work ethic and client service model is consistent with our approach of Personal Attention: Global Connections®. We are excited for the opportunity to continue to meet our clients’ needs and exceed their expectations.” About Crowe Horwath |
