St. Vincent Standardizes and Accelerates A/R Hindsight and Reserve Estimation
St. Vincent Health, Inc. ("St. Vincent"), a nonprofit corporation, is dedicated to the spirit of caring guided by core values that reflect commitment to quality, compassion and affordable healthcare services. St. Vincent wanted to perform accounts receivable (A/R) hindsight analysis more frequently, and streamline and standardize its different patient billing systems in an effort to better analyze receivables and adjust financial reserves. Crowe Chizek and Company LLC (“Crowe”) worked with St. Vincent to develop a revenue analysis application that automates the A/R hindsight analysis process, estimates month-end reserves, and gives the organization “near real-time” access to revenue cycle activity across multiple facilities.
