Dennis Kalten has more than 10 years of experience providing restructuring, forensic accounting, and assurance services to clients in various industries including distribution, retail, construction, manufacturing, automotive dealerships, and automotive suppliers. He specializes in analyzing debtor-in-possession financing budgets, cash collateral forecasts, plans of reorganization, disclosure statements, and other financial information related to bankruptcy proceedings. Mr. Kalten’s experience includes advising debtors and unsecured creditors’ committees in connection with out-of- court and Chapter 11 reorganizations as well as Chapter 7 liquidations. Mr. Kalten has also performed investigations, due diligence analyses, and litigation support services for financial institutions and U.S. trustees. Prior to joining Crowe Horwath LLP, Mr. Kalten served as a director in Stout Risius Ross' restructuring and turnaround group and as a senior manager in Mahoney Cohen & Company's corporate recovery services group. Mr. Kalten holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from Fordham University. He is a certified public accountant licensed in the states of New York and Illinois. In addition, he is a Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) and has earned the Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) credential of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Mr. Kalten is also a member of the Turnaround Management Association, American Bankruptcy Institute, Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors, and AICPA. |
