Mark Cedar has 10 years of public accounting and private industry experience in the areas of bankruptcy restructuring and assurance services in various industries including telecommunications, technology, distribution, manufacturing, and automotive. He has worked on both the creditor and debtor sides of distressed companies, where he has assisted management in preparing debtor-in-possession financing budgets, cash collateral forecasts, plans of reorganization, disclosure statements, and other financial information related to bankruptcy proceedings. Mr. Cedar has provided advisory services to secured lenders outside of bankruptcy in analyzing the collateral and cash positions of banks. He has also performed investigations, due diligence analyses, and litigation support services for financial institutions and the United States Trustees. Prior to joining Crowe, Mr. Cedar worked at JH Cohn’s corporate recovery group and before that was with Zolfo Cooper’s bankruptcy and restructuring group. Mr. Cedar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Bentley College and a Masters in Taxation from Northeastern University. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) licensed in the state of Massachusetts. Mr. Cedar is a member of the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. |
