Mari Reidy is a partner in Crowe Horwath LLP's fraud and ethics practice. She specializes in the area of forensic accounting and fraud investigative services. Ms. Reidy has managed numerous investigations involving fraudulent financial reporting, asset misappropriation, and corruption. She has written and taught on the subjects of fraud prevention, detection, and investigation, and has been quoted in various publications on the topics. Ms. Reidy has provided financial and consulting assistance since the early 1990's to clients in many industries, including manufacturing, distribution, not-for-profit, financial institutions, brokerage, and municipalities.

Prior to specializing in forensic services, Ms. Reidy managed financial statement and benefit plan audits; reviewed corporate, partnership, and individual federal and state tax filings; and performed due diligence analysis of target company acquisitions. She has provided significant consulting assistance to her clients on various accounting and reporting issues.

Ms. Reidy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Roosevelt University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Illinois CPA Society, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Ms. Reidy is a certified public accountant (CPA) licensed in the states of Illinois, Florida, and Ohio. She also has the designations of Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
