WeykampPartner-in-charge john.weykamp@crowehorwath.com 616.242.6182 As the partner-in-charge of Crowe Horwath LLP’s Restructuring Advisory Services practice, John Weykamp draws on more than 18 years of experience in consulting, financial services, and financial management of manufacturing organizations. He specializes in corporate turnarounds, loan workouts, crisis management, restructurings, and liquidations. Mr. Weykamp has worked with clients in various industries including automotive supply, manufacturing, transportation, foundry, steel processing, retail, and distribution. Prior to joining Crowe, Mr. Weykamp was employed as a managing director of a Detroit-based turnaround consulting firm where he lead numerous engagements representing debtors and creditors in both out-of-court and bankruptcy proceedings. Earlier in his career, Mr. Weykamp served as the chief financial officer of a privately held steel processing company, as well as a privately held tier-one automotive supplier. In these roles, he managed each firm’s bank relationships and accounting functions in addition to leading acquisition teams that performed due diligence, transaction negotiation, and post-closing integration. Mr. Weykamp began his career serving as an assistant vice president and commercial loan officer for a large regional bank specializing in middle-market lending. Mr. Weykamp holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, American Bankruptcy Institute, and Association for Corporate Growth. |
