Enterprise Technology for the Global Metals Industry: Fourth Annual IT and ERP Research Insights
In 2015, Crowe Horwath LLP, in collaboration with American Metal Market (AMM), conducted its fourth annual survey of senior metals industry executives. The purpose of this study is to examine the role of enterprise technology in the metals industry. The statistics cited in this brochure were based on online survey responses from 177 senior executives at U.S. companies, along with interviews and other industry research reports. The insights and analysis of the survey responses, along with observations on the overall state of the industry, were provided by thought leaders from the Crowe metals industry team. This year’s survey population was considerably larger than those of previous surveys. The respondents represented the full range of metals businesses, including service centers, producers, processors, mills, and scrap recyclers, ranging in size from less than $50 million to more than $1 billion in annual revenue.
